We are Sri SankaraVidyabharathi Gowsamrakshana Charitable Trust. We were established in the year 2008, with a mission to improve our Environment by the following :

1. ­Reduce Land degradation and desertification with the use of traditional farming practices which includes Livestock and particularly Cowgrazing and Livestock grazing;

2. ­Reduce the use of Chemical fertilizers and move more and more people ttraditional cow based farming using Palekar methods;

3. ­Contribute to the micro economics of the Villages/Farmers by producing wealth out of waste – E.g.Cow Dung Crafts;

4. ­Train and empower the villages with Knowledge of Water conservation,scientific methods of farming,Effect of fertilizers, Seed Conservation,overall biodiversity and impact of flora and fauna in overall yields,

5. ­Improve Holistic farming methods and improve collaboration with other NGOS, State and the grass root village governance teams;

6. ­Improve female literacy rate by working at the grassroot levels;
